Versatile Vintage Karl Springer style BIG chunky Lucite lamp + upgrades & extras
This is an AMAZING piece I bought decades ago for my Mid Century Modern collection.
The lamp base consists of a number of thick Lucite "pie piece" wedges that are interconnected near the inner tips of each wedge by thin (but sturdy) metal pins.
The pins allow each & every individual wedge to be rotated out in different directions from the center, so that the lamp can have many configurations.
You can change the look of it to suit your moods.
The photos show it with all original parts + new lamp shade.
The vintage electrical parts & double bulb sockets need restoration & are included.
I purchased new parts, which I'll include:
- a faceted crystal finial to secure the new lamp shade (shown in a pic)
- new wiring
- new bulb socket (single)
- new lamp shade
ALL vintage & new parts will be included, unless you tell me otherwise.
This will be COMPLETELY disassembled before packing & shipping. I'll include some sort of guide to help you reassemble (take photos of disassembly steps, number /identify each piece on the individual piece shipping wrappers, put pins in a labeled Ziplock bag, etc.)
